About the Retreats
The retreats have been taking place since 2019 in the village of Vilas Boas , in the municipality of Vila Flor, within the Tua Valley Regional Natural Park, in the Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro region. They take place in May and September, in the middle of spring and at the end of summer.
There are five days of IYENGAR® Yoga classes led by Luísa Geraldes.
Groups are small, with a maximum of 14 people. Staying in three comfortable country houses gives these retreats a particularly intimate, familiar, and unique environment.
Practitioners of the most diverse nationalities, traveling from the most diverse places, have participated over the last few years.
The landscapes are magnificent, the food is vegetarian, incredibly tasty, nutritious and often made with produce from the garden.
Program
The Retreats begin on a Wednesday afternoon and end the following Sunday morning.
The program focuses on daily Iyengar Yoga classes in a fully equipped room, lasting a total of twenty hours. Two vegetarian meals are served.
Throughout the day, participants have free time to enjoy hikes along approved trails, river beaches, train rides along the historic and legendary Douro River, sumptuous landscapes, or simply relax in the various nooks and crannies the houses offer.

Quadruple Room

The quadruple room, with private bathroom, is located in the main house "Estamancas" where classes take place and meals are served.
The double rooms, with private or shared bathroom, are located in the main house and in the "Azinheira" support house, a 5-minute drive or 20-minute walk away.
Single Room
890 euros
The single rooms, with private bathroom, are located in the "Sécias" support house, a 3-minute drive or 15-minute walk away.
Accompanying person
Includes accommodation and meals.

Prices do not include:
Transportation, meals other than those mentioned, as well as extras of another nature.
Organizing the trip is the sole responsibility of the participant.
Registration and Reservations
Registration is only confirmed upon payment of 50% of the amount;
Payment of the remaining amount must be made up to 10 days before the start of the Retreat;
Registrations made less than 15 days before the start date require payment of the full amount;
Registrations are accepted until the previous Friday.
